Cleaning Services in York, North Yorkshire Synergy Cleaning was born out of an honest passion for impeccable cleaning! After many years working in other cleaning companies, and creating quite a reputation for excellence at a well-known pest control company, I knew it was time to create my own, unique cleaning service.

Let me explain.Our companyis the culmination of years of experience, good and bad. We know what customers really want, and thats for their business premises or home to be cleaned consistently well, without having to even think about it.

I believe that a business is only as good as its team, and I know we have the best team! We employ high quality colleagues, and keep them over the long-term because we offer an excellent working environment, supportive structure and great rewards. In fact, its thanks to our excellent standards, drive, and commitment to our colleagues that we were presented with the Yorkshire Press New Business Award 2010/2011 the first cleaning company to achieve the award.

Synergy = the combined power of a group of things when they are working together that is greater than the total power achieved by each working separately:

Unfortunately this is the wrong name for this company. Having booked them to do a simple cleaning job they managed to make something straightforward one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever encountered. I booked the clean around two weeks in advance and unfortunately could not remember the time that I had booked them for (as I was moving house, I had booked a number of different contractors to do various jobs). While I accept that portion of blame, it should have been a very simple problem to solve. I first called on the Friday before the clean (the clean was booked for the following Tuesday) and left a message asking for a call back to confirm the time. On the Monday, after no call was received, I called around five times during the day, again leaving messages and emails... no call received. On the day of the clean, I called around ten times, and did manage to speak to Michaela who assured me she would let me know the time of clean when she was back in the office in fifteen minutes - this was around 11am. No call received. I left work early and arrived home at 3.15, assuming that the clean was booked for later as noone had bothered to tell me otherwise. However, at 3.08 I had received a text from Michaela saying her cleaners were at my flat at the time I had assured her I would be home for (see previous sentences about me letting them know, to a moderately severe degree, that I did not know what time this was and required a confirmation), and on arrival at 3.15, they, unlike the dust in my flat, had vanished.

The reception are based at a different site and somehow in the digital age, cannot communicate with other staff members. As I arrived only five minutes after them leaving I would’ve expected the cleaners to come back as the time would’ve been allocated to them but again no one...
